Danziger, Homak Manufacturing started as a manufacturer of steel kitchen cabinets. In the 1960s, the company expanded its product line to include hardware products like toolboxes and cabinets. Homak's hardware line was widely accepted by major retail businesses at the time. After Sigmund's passing in 1979, his wife Gertrude took over the company and expanded its product offerings to include automotive, hospital, and sporting goods. In 2005, JVA acquired Homak and relocated its headquarters to western Pennsylvania, where it currently operates in the Wampum Underground Commerce Center. Today, Homak specializes in tool storage and gun cabinet security, offering products like hand-carry toolboxes, workbenches, and fire-resistant safes.
